The Coverage Check is a foundation to implement and support various functionalities, such as:

• Geocoding address to check coverage
• Rich interface with Google Map integration
• Searching single address
• Searching list of addresses
• Importing list of addresses from a Excel file
• Simple end customer check
• Separate operator interface and end customer self-care coverage check portal.

They are natively accessible through the Portlet-based interface to support key operational activities in the areas of network optimization and maintenance, customer provisioning, quality assurance, marketing, sales & commercial planning.

Exploiting the TelcoGIS APIs, an easily customizable web application has been also built that can be deployed in the operator web site. Through a stepped approach, it allows end-customers self-performing an efficient and speedy verification of coverage, selecting the desired service plan and type of User Terminal (outdoor, indoor, indoor with windows antenna, USB dongle, etc.) among those possible by the available coverage, and, finally, subscribing the service on-line.
